Eisbein Overview

Since 1948, the annual Eisbeinessen in Hamburg has been the networking highlight of the international shipping industry. Every year on the first Friday in November, shipbrokers, shipping agents, freight forwarders, shipping agents, bunker dealers, insurance agents and bankers from around the world meet to make new contacts in Hamburg. This year the Eisbeinessen will take place on Friday, November 7th, 2025.

Many of the guests arrive in Hamburg a few days before the event to meet old and new business partners and friends. This means that more than 8,000 people spend more than three days in Hamburg.

This year, the 75th Eisbeinessen will take place at Grand Elysée Hamburg (Rothenbaumchaussee 10, 20148 Hamburg).
